Ann Arbor Art Fair

John and I have been in the market for some pictures of trout (as in, the fish).  So we thought there would be nowhere more perfect to buy our art than from the Ann Arbor Art Fair.   Before heading down to the Art Fair, we started our morning with a hearty breakfast at Angelo’s.  It was our first time there, and we had been wanting to go for a while.  It was closed for about a month during June-July and they had just opened back up.  My food was good – but nothing overly wow-ing.  (John and I both ordered corned beef hash.)  I probably wouldn’t go back… not because the food wasn’t good, but because there are so many other really good places to go.

After breakfast, we headed down to the Art Fair.  We found a few pictures of trout, but nothing that perfectly fit our needs (John is very particular about his fish pictures).  It was a little bummer because my summer bucket list included buying something from the Art Fair – instead, I bought a bottle of water, but I am not sure that counts.

All in all, it was a lovely morning spent with my lovely husband.  John’s bar exam is less than a week away, so he has been so busy studying – I hardly see him, so our little morning exploration was a perfect 4 hour vacation.
