Pueblo Harvest Cafe

This past weekend John and I went to the Pueblo Harvest Cafe, which features traditionally grounded Native American cooking. The cafe is outside on a patio and there was a live band playing Latin music... at a Native American restaurant (which was a little confusing, but a very James Madison CCP experience). It was super fun, and with the music and sunshine, as if we were in New Mexico.  :)

The Pueblo Harvest Cafe is part of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC). "The Pueblo people are located primarily in New Mexico, however, at one time the Pueblo's homeland reached into the states of Colorado and Arizona. Pueblo people rooted in this region of the southwest are descendants of an indigenous Native American culture that has established itself over many centuries." (from the IPCC website)

This cafe is definitely a place you take visitors... The food was yummy and the atmosphere was great.
