Hannah and our adventures... Sandia Peak Tram, Santa Fe, and Old Town

After two busy days visiting White Sands and Carlsbad Caverns, Hannah and I spent our final two days hanging around Albuquerque.  On Saturday morning we decided to go to Santa Fe where we did a little shopping and exploring.  We didn't spend too much time in Santa Fe because we wanted to be back in Albuquerque before the Michigan vs. Michigan State game was over.  The weather was gorgeous, and before we left Santa Fe, we had lunch at The Shed, and as always, it was oh-so yummy!

Later that evening we decided to take the Sandia Peak Tram to the top of the Sandia mountains.  We tried to convince John to join, but there was no pulling him away from the Florida State vs. Miami game.  John and I have taken the tram before, but doing the tram in the evening is definitely the way to go.  When Hannah and I headed up to the top of the mountain it was day light, and then we enjoyed the sunset from the top of the mountain.  After the sunset, we headed into the restaurant and had warm spiked hot chocolate... it was so tasty!  On our way down the mountain the city was lit up and beautiful.  There was cloud coverage so the stars weren't fully visible, BUT Venus was glowing so, so bright - it was beautiful!

For our final day together, we started with a very hearty breakfast at the Range Cafe and then headed over to Old Town to walk through some of the fun shops.  From Old Town, I brought Hannah to the airport to say goodbye.  I was so thankful that she came to visit, and it made me realize how much I miss all of my friends from Michigan... it's not the location that makes "home," it is the people.

I miss you, Hannah!! Thank you for visiting!  :)
