Father's Day is on Sunday, and I don't know about your dad, but mine is so difficult to buy for!
Does anyone have any good ideas?!

Happy Father's Day, Dad - I love you very much!! Thank you so much for all that you have done and continue to do for us!
TWO | 31st Wedding Anniversary
This week was my parent's 31st wedding anniversary! I am so thankful for their example of a Christ-centered marriage... I am looking forward to growing old with John and celebrating our 31st anniversary some day!
By the way, does anyone else besides me enjoy looking at old pictures?!
I swear, I could look at them for hours!

THREE | Baby Shower
This weekend I am co-hosting a baby shower for my coworker who is preggo with a sweet baby girl! I have been crafting and baking all week, so I am looking forward to seeing it all come together!
You have probably seen this quiz around Facebook... I decided to give it a try, and supposedly Dubai best fits my personality. Not quite sure what this says about me, but I have seen a House Hunters International in Dubai, and it looked pretty cool... so I'll go with it!
Have you taken the quiz? What country did you get?!
YAY for Father's DAY!!!! Dads are the best :)!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to your parents, that's so wonderful!
I took the quiz and was Italy...woohoo! Happy Friday!
Happy Anniversary to your parents!! Marriage is such a blessing! Have fun hosting a sweet shower this weekend! Happy Father's Day to your dad! Loving the precious snapshots of you two! (:
ReplyDeleteHooray for Father's Day! This year I'm planning a Father/Daughter date over gifts. I did it with my mom & it was a hit! It's hard to find the perfect gift for somebody who can buy whatever they want whenever they want. Ha! Parents who have been married for years on end are so encouraging!! My parents have been married for 33 years this year & it's inspiring! Loving those summer porches!! Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteSWOONING at those summer porches for sure!!!! Eeeee!
ReplyDeleteAnd happy anny to your rents!!! Amazing! WHAT a blessing! :)

Stopping by from the link up. What wonderful things your family has to celebrate this week!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with porches!!!!!! Congratulations to your parents, too. Girl, that's amazing! Miss ya!

ReplyDeleteThose summer porches look like a dream! I can't wait to hear about the baby shower-- everything you've made looks so cute, I'm sure it will be a huge success :) What sweet pictures from your parents wedding! I'm definitely with you on looking through old photos!
ReplyDeleteThose porches are beautiful! And have a great weekend with the fam... if all else fails, take your dad out to eat to his favorite restaurant.

Love that quiz - I got Italy and that totally hit the nail on the head!! Love the dipped pretzels you're preparing for the baby shower!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI went and took the quiz and I got India - which is funny because that is one place I have no interest in going to. Still fun though!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about porches that are so perfect? I just love them!! I have to dream as my own "porch" is more like an enlarged front step (let's be honest, it's not dreamy).
Have a great weekend!
I have a friend who is teaching in Dubai and he loves it and it looks gorgeous. I think it's a great choice. Those porches are to die for!
ReplyDelete31 years?! Thats fantastic! Can't wait to see the rest of the shower goodies. I love those pretty pretzels.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh your Mom's wedding dress looks so much like my mom's!! So pretty! And I'm totally loving those porches... someday, someday. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYesss to all of this! Love those pictures with your dad. And those porches?! Amazing! I'm sure the shower will be just perfect -- those pretzels are so cute! Happy Weekend, xo!
ReplyDeletei can't wait to see pics from the baby shower. You are always so crafty. I don't have any good ideas for father's day. I'm getting my dad shorts, a hat and some books. Pretty boring but thats what he wants. Car wash books are always nice.
ReplyDeleteDad's seriously are the hardest to buy for...but luckily, they seem to genuinely love and appreciate anything you give them! Even if it's the same gift year after year {hey...no one can have too many shirts...right???} Love the photos from your parents' wedding! I, too, love going through old photos. I lose all track of time when I start down that road! Have a fabulous weekend!
ReplyDeleteLoving those summer porches! I took that quiz earlier and got India as well! I had actually considered going there for a summer during college, never got the chance though.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
LOVE those porches!!!! A girl can dream... Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh man Dubai is awesome but SOOOO UN-AFFORDABLE. Everyone drives a benz, audi, lexus, etc. That's awesome your parents are still married!!

ReplyDeleteAww! Those photo's are precious. I love the pretzels for the baby shower. How excited is that mama. I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures of your mom and dad from their wedding! So sweet! I love looking at old pictures. I am totally using that quiz in my geography class for where to live. I can't wait to take it myself. And love those summer porches. Have a fun weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteI love looking through old pictures - especially of my parents who look totally different! It's fun. Those porches are making me jealous! I'm dying for a big porch and backyard - which I fantasize over every summer. Have a great weekend lady!
ReplyDeleteOh loving those porches! There is nothing better than sitting out on the porch on a summer morning, iced coffee in hand ;) Stopping by from the link up !

Congrats to your parents on their anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMy dad can be hard to buy for too. He likes to golf so I bought him this thing called The Pill, it's shaped like a tire and it helps you with your golf game. I got the idea from Kathie Lee and Hoda on the Today Show, here's the link to the video for more Father's Day ideas!

I took that quiz and got France! Looks like I need to schedule a trip! My dad is so hard to buy for I normally just get him lotto scratchers!
ReplyDeleteYes, my dad is the hardest person ever to shop for!! Always a challenge!! And he never wants me to spend money on him so I can't ask. I usually get him an array of cookies and a gift certificate for one of his favorite lunch spots! Men! So hard to shop for!.
ReplyDeleteI got New Zealand. I think part of it is true part not so much. Funny how those surveys works. Those porches are gorgeous. I've always dreamed of having a beautiful wrap around porch...I'll keep dreaming.
ReplyDeletesigh, I'm right there with you dreaming about those porches.

ReplyDeleteI just came from a baby shower & I devoured about 3 of those amazing pretzels!!!
I love old wedding pics.
I so wish I had a porch to sit on regularly! So peaceful! Getting to 31 years is a huge accomplishment what a great example.
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with porches!! When we started house hunting it was on my "must have" list but now I've realized that's not totally reasonable haha. One day though! And how cute are those pretzel sticks? Hope the shower went well!
ReplyDelete31 years is such a huge accomplishment! My parents are approaching 30 and I'm so thankful for the example they have provided. And I could look through old pictures for hours. It's one of my favorite things to do! Can't wait to see more pictures from the shower!
ReplyDeleteI took that country quiz a few weeks ago and ended up with New Zealand. Definitely a place I want to visit but not on my list to move to.
ReplyDeleteMy parents will be celebrating 31 years this year too! Haha every time I read your blog I discover we have something else in common. Those pictures of their wedding are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAlso, those pretzels look delicious!
Those pics of you and your dad are beyond cute!!
ReplyDeleteAlso... I don't know about you, but I've been super bummed about missing five on Friday for the summer. If you're interested my friend Karli {september FARM} and I {the farmer's wife} are starting up a link-up "oh hey, friday!" with the exact same outline and would love for you to join us this Friday! Hope to see you there.
