Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! Ours was refreshing and just what the doctor ordered (not to mention I didn't have to work on Friday, so an extra day off always helps!).
John and I have been up to a lot lately, so I thought I would do a quick catch-up of our recent happenings!
Last weekend John and I went to the Arizona Fish and Game Expo... and it was just as you may expect (...a bunch of Arizonans who love their guns). But as they say, when in Rome...
John had a good time, so that's all that matters (and he agreed to go see Cinderella with me - which we haven't seen yet, but hopefully will soon!). Look at how good we are at marriage... all this compromise! :) :)
I'm loving the extra daylight that we have been getting. It is so nice coming home from work and being able to do something outside before it gets dark.
And Scout loves it too! There is a trail only 2 miles from our condo that we have been walking on weeknights, and it's quite relaxing! She is my perfect little co-pilot. :)
When I was growing up, card games were a staple, and as fun stay-in date, I taught John how to play cribbage. Has anyone played this before?!
John caught on quick, and we had a few fun games... my to-teach-John list is growing, so hopefully he isn't hating it! ;)
This past weekend was the last weekend for Spring Training games. I was so happy that we were able to squeeze one in before the end of the season, but bummed that we didn't go to more - it was so great!
We saw the Rockies vs. Mariners and couldn't have asked for better weather... the stadium was also only half full (which was a huge plus since I'm not super into knocking elbows with sweaty people at baseball games...).
This past weekend John and Scout went to Sedona and hiked Bear Mountain in the Red Rock Mountain Wilderness.
Scout is basically half-mountain goat and was loving all of the rock jumping... she may be little (only 27 lbs), but that girl has got some serious ups!
Adventure pup at the top!
Sedona is absolutely beautiful... the red rocks against the blue sky can't be beat!
