16 Point Introduction

To say 2016 has been busy would be an understatement - 2016 has been insaneee... and I am only finding enough time to get the essentials done: ergo, I'm just now finding time to get around to posting to a New Year introduction!

But better late than never, right?!
So without further ado, here's a 2016 16-point introduction!

The Basics.

ONE  |  My name is Lisa, and I am married to John; we will be celebrating our 5th anniversary this summer.

TWO  |  I am a sinner saved by the grace of Jesus.

THREE  |  I will be 28 years old in 10 days - yay for birthdays!

FOUR  |  I live in San Antonio, Texas... we moved here in October from Scottsdale, Arizona and are excited to make Texas our "forever home."

FIVE  |  I work from home for a medical device company located in Arizona; I feel so blessed to actually enjoy my job.

SIX  |  John and I have immediate family that lives all over the country: Michigan, New Mexico, Virginia, Michigan, Massachusetts, and Colorado - the different places make for fun reasons to visit family!

SEVEN  |  I have an older brother and younger brother... cheers to being a middle child!

EIGHT  |  I am the proud owner of two cute pups and one sweet kitty. We just brought home our sweet new puppy, Lily, last week.

The Details.

NINE  |  I have a rock solid immune system... I haven't been sick in over 3 years! Which is a good thing, because I have a huge "sick" phobia.

TEN  |  I have the hardest time waking up in the mornings... I am not easily motivated when tired. 9 hours of sleep? Nothing better (God help me when I have children some day...).

ELEVEN  |  I really don't like it when grocery baggers toss around my produce. I mean, I just bought those apples, and now you are bruising them - what the heck?!

TWELVE  |  I love all candy except Skittles and Starburst... ish!

THIRTEEN  | Speaking of sleep, my dog sleeps in bed with us. I wish it wasn't true, but it's too late now. We make the new pup sleep in the crate, but we (or, rather, John...) just don't have the heart to kick Scout out of the bed.

FOURTEEN  |  I despise when the apps on my phone aren't up to date and when I have unopened emails - phone organization, people!

FIFTEEN  |  I don't drink coffee, and I don't plan on starting. If I've made it this long, then why start now, right?! However, I have an irrational fear that I could be 20% more productive if I just started drinking it...

SIXTEEN  | I love Lawry's Seasoning Salt and will put it on anything from meat, to vegetables, to popcorn... it can't be healthy, but it tastes so yummy!

  2. These posts are my favorite! You better "knock on wood" with that sick statement ;) I stay sick because I have patients constantly coughing in my face it's awful. And I totally feel you on the dog in bed situation. We are past the point of no return. If we told her to lay on her bed or in her crate she would laugh at us #spoiled

  16. I hear ya. I've had ONE good, healthy day this month. I'll blog...sometime. Our big pup is in the bed too. It wasn't supposed to happen, but the hubby caved, and now I share with two snorers. Lovely. The little pup sleeps in his bed on the cedar chest at the end of our bed. He's a good one! I don't like coffee either.

  17. Lol, don't drink the coffee!!! That is something to be so proud of! If you need caffeine you can always have a diet coke or something, but coffee is like the worst. I feel bad, my husband didnt start drinking coffee until we started living together and now he's hooked. It's too late. One you start you cant stop. I just think that's amazing. I like this little list. I might copy someday ;)

  22. Hooray for Texas, I hope that y'all are loving it! I know I'm biased, but it's totally the best state! We let our pup sleep in bed with us too. He just looks so cute and cuddly, I just can't help it!

  23. I started drinking coffee at 21 and I can't imagine life without it anymore! Stay strong girl. Once you start, you can't stop lol!

  24. I love this! What a good post idea! The pups sleeping in bed is definitely a struggle! We'll see how long that lasts with your new baby! ;)

  25. AWWW Lily is so cute!! How's Scout enjoying a sibling??

    ReplyDelete
  26. Impenetrable immune systems unite! We're rarely sick over here too and it's the best. I couldn't handle(well, I could, because I Wouldn't have a choice....) being sick all of the time. I mean, that's just awful!

Right there with you on the sleep. I needs it. And hey, I've got two kids and still manage to get a shameful amount. So, you can do it!

  27. These are my favorite kind of posts! I need lots of sleep as well. Your wedding picture is the sweetest! You're glowing. :)

  28. Massachusetts!!! Stop it! Well if your ever in the area... ;) Let's get lunch! Hooray for new puppies, and lots of sleeeeep! :)

  29. I'm completely with you on a few, but you lost me at the one on coffee. ha! I don't remember a day when I haven't had at least one cup! Lawry's is also something I love. I also use the self checkout at the grocery store. Watching someone else check out my items is like watching someone handle my personal stuff. I'm just not good at letting strangers mess with my stuff. ha! Produce or anything else! If they'd allow me to check out my own stuff at department stores, I'd be all over that too!

  30. I love reading this about you! I find myself saying "Me too!" to a lot of these! I rarely get sick too, but if I do, I get reallyyyy sick. Lily is PRECIOUS! And, I put Frank's red hot on everything. xoxo, Champagne&Suburbs

  31. Cute! I'm so jealous of your immune system! No matter how healthy I try to be, I get sick often and it's always BAD.
    Lily is soooooo cute! Ahh!
